Since most non-user-generated syndicated feeds provide <category> tags, has anyone looked into incorporated those categories into the LJ tags system? |

Good idea, you might want to suggest this in ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif?v=92.2) suggestions.
Syns aren't actually users, so they don't actually have a database for them to have "tags" and stuff.
Plus, only the past 25ish (random number) 'entries' are kept of the feeds, so having tags in them would be a bit pointless. | |
